KARGIL: Twenty National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets from the University of Ladakh’s Kargil Campus participated in the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, a national initiative aimed at raising awareness about tuberculosis (TB) and advancing the goal of a TB-free India.
The programme was jointly organised by the NCC Wing of the University of Ladakh and the Tribal Research Institute, Ladakh, to sensitise participants to tuberculosis and promote public awareness about the disease.
The initiative brought together the university’s NCC Wing and the Tribal Research Institute in an effort to encourage community awareness and reinforce the importance of public health education. The participation of NCC cadets formed part of the programme’s broader objective of promoting social responsibility and awareness of health-related issues.
Following the programme, the Tribal Research Institute, University of Ladakh, provided refreshments to all participating cadets.
The initiative reflected the joint efforts of the two institutions to promote public health awareness and community engagement through organised outreach activities.
