ZANSKAR: Dr Rabia on Monday inspected the District Hospital Zanskar and reviewed its healthcare facilities and functioning of various departments after assuming charge as the first Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of the newly established district.
During her inspection, Dr Rabia visited different sections of the hospital to assess the existing infrastructure and healthcare facilities and took an overview of the medical services being provided to the people of Zanskar.
She also interacted with doctors, paramedical personnel and other hospital staff to understand the functioning of the departments and the services currently available at the hospital.
Dr Rabia was welcomed on her arrival by Block Medical Officer Dr Angmo, doctors, paramedical staff and other employees of the District Hospital. The hospital staff accorded her a traditional welcome.
