NUBRA: Deputy Commissioner Nubra Mukul Beniwal, IAS conducted another round of surprise inspections at Partapur Higher Secondary School and the local Health Centre, directing teachers to introduce daily on-board quizzes to strengthen conceptual learning while reviewing healthcare services and staff attendance at the medical facility.
During his visit to the school, the Deputy Commissioner inspected the attendance of teachers and students before interacting with students in classrooms to assess their conceptual understanding across different subjects.
Observing the need to reinforce classroom learning, Beniwal advised teachers to conduct daily on-board quizzes in addition to regular class tests, saying the practice would improve conceptual clarity and help students manage examination-related pressure more effectively.
He also encouraged students to remain inquisitive and actively participate in classroom discussions, emphasising that curiosity and questioning are essential for meaningful learning and deeper understanding of academic concepts.
The Deputy Commissioner later visited the Health Centre, where he reviewed staff attendance and assessed the healthcare services being provided to the public.
The inspection was aimed at reviewing the functioning of educational and healthcare institutions and ensuring the effective delivery of public services in the subdivision.
The visit was accompanied by Sub-Divisional Magistrate Nubra Jigmet Raftan, JKAS, and Naib Tehsildar Diskit Habibullah.
