The programme, held at Islamia Public School, Leh, focused on equipping teachers with practical teaching methodologies and innovative classroom strategies to improve the delivery of Science and Mathematics education. He urged the Master Trainers to apply the knowledge gained during the programme and disseminate the training at the district level to promote activity-based and learner-centred classroom practices.

Resource persons from IISER Pune highlighted the importance of experiential learning, inquiry-based teaching and scientific thinking in improving classroom instruction, while appreciating the active participation and commitment shown by the teachers during the two-day programme.

Participants from Leh and Kargil said the orientation enhanced their confidence in using the Science and Mathematics Kits through hands-on learning, enabling them to make classroom teaching more interactive, engaging and concept-oriented.

Mementoes were presented to the IISER Pune resource persons in recognition of their contribution to the programme. The organising committee also acknowledged the institute’s continued support in implementing the initiative.
