EJM College Leh holds thanksgiving gathering after National Conference

LEH: The Department of Social Work at Eliezer Joldan Memorial (EJM) College, Leh, organised a valedictory and thanksgiving gathering to acknowledge the collective efforts of faculty members, staff and organising committees involved in the successful conduct of a two-day national conference.

The conference, titled “Towards Inclusive Futures: Dialogue and Collective Action,” brought together various teams within the college, whose contributions across multiple areas were recognised during the gathering.

The event was organised as a gesture of appreciation for the teamwork and commitment of those involved in preparations for and the conduct of the conference. The department acknowledged the efforts of faculty members, staff and committee members responsible for registration, hospitality, food, accommodation, transportation, venue management, technical arrangements, documentation, certificates and guest management, among other duties.

The gathering also provided an informal setting for members of the college community to reflect on their experience, share memories from the conference and acknowledge the work involved in its successful completion.

Tea and refreshments were served during the gathering, adding an informal touch to the occasion.

The presence of the Principal of EJM College was also acknowledged by the Department of Social Work, which expressed appreciation for the encouragement and support extended by the college leadership throughout the conference.

The department said the successful completion of the national conference was a collective achievement of the EJM College community and reflected the contribution of different teams working towards a shared purpose.
