LEH: Eliezer Joldan Memorial (EJM) College, Leh, will host a two-day National Conference on “Towards Inclusive Futures: Dialogue and Collective Action” on September 10 and 11, bringing together academicians, researchers, policymakers, practitioners and students from across the country for discussions on inclusive and equitable development.

The conference is being organised by the Department of Social Work, EJM College, with financial support under the Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (PM-USHA), in collaboration with the Professional Social Workers Association of Jammu & Kashmir (PSWAJK).

Alongside announcing the conference, the organisers have issued a Call for Abstracts, inviting original research submissions from faculty members, research scholars, professionals, students and experts representing diverse academic disciplines. The organisers said the event is intended to encourage wider participation from institutions and professionals working in the fields of social work, public policy, education and community development.

According to the organisers, the conference has been designed as a national platform to promote interdisciplinary dialogue, facilitate the exchange of research-based perspectives and strengthen collaborative efforts towards addressing contemporary social challenges. Deliberations will focus on advancing inclusive practices, fostering equitable development and encouraging collective action through academic engagement.

The organisers said the conference is expected to provide participants with opportunities to present research, engage in policy-oriented discussions and build professional networks with scholars and practitioners from different parts of the country.

Interested participants have been invited to submit original abstracts within the prescribed schedule and take part in the two-day academic event to be held at the EJM College campus in Leh.
