Hundreds of Students join ABVP during Membership drive at EJM College Leh

LEH: Hundreds of students from across Ladakh enrolled with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) during a membership drive held at Eliezer Joldan Memorial College (EJM College), Leh, as the student organisation sought to expand its presence among the region’s student community.

The membership campaign was conducted by ABVP Ladakh in the presence of Dorjey Namgyal, National Executive Council Member of ABVP.

The newly enrolled members comprise students from different parts of Ladakh who are pursuing their studies at EJM College. The organisation welcomed the students and said their participation would strengthen its presence among young people in the institution.

ABVP Ladakh said the membership drive was aimed at encouraging students to take a more active role in matters concerning student welfare, leadership, social responsibility and nation-building.

The organisation said the participation of students from different parts of Ladakh would provide greater representation to its activities within the college and strengthen its engagement with the wider student community. ABVP Ladakh expressed confidence that the newly enrolled students would contribute to its activities and take forward its objectives among students in the region.
