LEH: The Indian Army on Wednesday organised an Ex-Servicemen Rally at Khaltsi, bringing together veterans, Veer Naris and their families for a welfare outreach programme aimed at strengthening engagement with the ex-servicemen community and addressing their concerns.
The rally served as a platform for interaction between Army authorities and former servicemen, enabling participants to raise welfare-related issues and access information on various support mechanisms available for veterans and their families.
According to the Army, the initiative formed part of its continuing efforts to maintain close engagement with the ex-servicemen community while ensuring timely outreach and assistance on matters concerning welfare and rehabilitation.
The programme also reaffirmed the Indian Army’s commitment to the welfare of veterans, recognising their service to the nation and emphasising sustained institutional support for ex-servicemen, Veer Naris and their dependents.
The rally concluded with renewed assurance from the Army to continue strengthening welfare initiatives and community outreach programmes for the veteran fraternity across Ladakh.
