LEH: The Ladakh Territorial Congress Committee (LTCC), led by its President Nawang Rigzin Jora, on Sunday paid tribute to the soldiers of the Indian Armed Forces on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, commemorating the success of Operation Vijay and honouring those who laid down their lives during the 1999 Kargil War.

In a statement issued on the occasion, the LTCC said the annual observance marks the courage, sacrifice and patriotism displayed by Indian soldiers who fought in the high-altitude battlefields of Ladakh to defend the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
