Lt Gen Pande reviews combat readiness of Trishul Division

LEH: Lieutenant General Madanraj Pande, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Fire & Fury Corps, visited the Headquarters of the Trishul Division to review the operational preparedness and combat readiness of the strategically deployed formation along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

During the visit, Lt Gen Pande was briefed on the Division’s operational preparedness and ongoing measures to maintain a high level of readiness in the sensitive frontier region.

The Corps Commander also interacted with officers and troops, appreciating their professionalism, operational excellence, and unwavering commitment to duty under challenging conditions. He commended the formation for maintaining high standards of operational efficiency in one of the country’s most strategically significant sectors.

Addressing all ranks, Lt Gen Pande urged the troops to remain vigilant and sustain the highest standards of combat readiness to effectively safeguard the nation’s frontiers. He emphasized the importance of constant preparedness and operational alertness in view of the prevailing security environment along the LAC.

The visit underscores the Army’s continued focus on ensuring robust operational capability and maintaining a strong defensive posture in Ladakh, where the Fire & Fury Corps plays a crucial role in securing India’s northern borders.
