LEH: Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), Leh, in collaboration with Karma PA Society, Leh, organised a programme at Rujong Public School, Choglamsar, to mark the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya and introduce students to his life, ideas and contributions.
The programme featured a seminar on Upadhyaya’s life, teachings and vision for society, providing students and other participants an opportunity to discuss his ideas and their relevance to social responsibility and community service.
The event began with the garlanding of Upadhyaya’s portrait as a mark of tribute to his contributions and legacy.
Stinzen Norzam, Principal, Rujong Public School, attended the programme as the Chief Guest. In her address, she encouraged students to learn from the values and dedication of national thinkers and to understand their contributions to society.
Students, teachers, members of Karma PA Society and MY Bharat volunteers participated in the programme. Discussions during the event focused on social responsibility, service and collective development.
The organisers said the programme was intended to acquaint young people with Upadhyaya’s philosophy and encourage reflection on the role of youth in society. The programme concluded with the organisers expressing appreciation to Rujong Public School and Karma PA Society for their cooperation in conducting the event.
