NYOMA: Students of Government Higher Secondary School, Nyoma, used paintings to highlight the harmful effects of substance abuse during a competition organised on Tuesday as part of the week-long Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan campaign across Changthang district.
The competition provided students an opportunity to express their views on drug abuse and its adverse impact on individuals and society through artwork carrying messages on healthy and drug-free living.
The activity was aimed at increasing awareness among students about the risks associated with substance abuse and encouraging young people to contribute to efforts towards creating a drug-free society.
The campaign is being conducted across Changthang district to engage the younger generation in awareness activities and strengthen community-level messaging against substance abuse.
