LEH: SSP Leh Fulzele Piyush Nirakar today announced a 14-day district-wise orientation programme from September 7 to 20 at the AstroTurf Stadium, Spituk, to help Ladakh’s youth prepare for the upcoming Ladakh Police Constable Recruitment Examination under the LPSSRB notification.
He said, “The programme will provide professional training in physical standards and examination components, including running, push-ups and long jump, with experienced drill instructors from the CRPF and other forces assisting in the training.
The orientation will also include indoor guidance on the written examination pattern and syllabus, along with practical outdoor field exposure. Similar training was earlier conducted during the Sub-Inspector recruitment process.”
SSP Leh said the initiative is aimed particularly at candidates who lack exposure or knowledge of recruitment procedures and will cover youth from across Ladakh. Similar programmes will be conducted in the districts to minimise travel difficulties for candidates.
Emphasising transparency, SSP Leh said the recruitment will be conducted through a fair, transparent and merit-based process. RFID-enabled chips will be used to track candidates during physical tests, with biometric verification at subsequent stages to prevent impersonation or replacement of candidates.
