KHALTSE: A Har Ghar Tiranga rally organised at Liker in Sham district on Wednesday brought together around 75 students and staff members in a procession that culminated at the historic Maitreya Buddha statue at Liker Gonpa.
The rally was organised as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, with participation from students and staff of Government High School Liker, officials of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate’s office, the Numberdar of Liker and the President of the Ex-Servicemen Association.
Beginning from Government High School Liker, the procession moved towards the historic Huge Maitreya Buddha statue at Liker Gonpa.
Participants carried the National Flag and raised patriotic slogans along the route, conveying messages of national unity and pride.
The involvement of school students gave the rally an educational dimension, allowing young participants to engage directly with a nationwide campaign centred on the National Flag.
Officials and community representatives joined the students, creating a shared public platform for the campaign.
The rally was intended to encourage wider public participation in Har Ghar Tiranga and promote respect for the National Flag.
The programme concluded at the Liker Gonpa area, with participants reiterating their support for the campaign and its message of unity and patriotism.
