PADUM: District Police Zanskar on Monday conducted its weekly Monday Parade at the Helipad Ground in Padum, reiterating the importance of discipline, operational readiness and professional conduct to ensure effective policing and efficient public service across the district.
The parade was attended by all officers and officials of the district police, including office staff, Personal Security Officers (PSOs), drivers and Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS) personnel.
The programme commenced with an inspection of the turnout of police personnel, followed by drill exercises to assess discipline and preparedness.
During the parade, officers stressed the importance of professionalism, physical fitness, punctuality and dedication to duty, underscoring their role in maintaining an efficient and responsive police force.
Personnel were also instructed to remain vigilant while performing their duties, uphold the highest standards of conduct and work in close coordination to ensure the effective maintenance of law and order throughout the district.
The weekly parade formed part of the district police’s routine preparedness measures aimed at strengthening institutional discipline, improving operational efficiency and enhancing service delivery to the public.
