KARGIL: Al-Mahdi Scouts (JUIAK), the disaster response and humanitarian volunteer wing of Jamiat-ul-Ulama Isna Asharia Kargil-Ladakh (JUIAKL), concluded the second phase of its Physical Training Camp for aspirants preparing for the Ladakh Police recruitment, with a three-day programme held at the Football Field, Kurbathang, from July 31 to August 2.

The camp drew the participation of a large number of young aspirants seeking to join the Ladakh Police. The training programme focused on improving physical fitness and preparing candidates to meet the recruitment standards prescribed for the selection process.

Participants underwent structured training sessions under the supervision of experienced trainers and Scout volunteers. The programme included endurance running, sprinting, physical drills and other fitness exercises designed to enhance stamina, agility and overall physical preparedness.

The organisers said the initiative forms part of Al-Mahdi Scouts’ continued efforts to support the youth of Ladakh through organised physical training, discipline and career-oriented preparation for public service. They commended the commitment and determination displayed by the participants during the three-day camp.

Al-Mahdi Scouts also acknowledged the contribution of trainers, volunteers and supporters who assisted in the successful conduct of the programme. The organisation said it intends to continue similar initiatives aimed at equipping young aspirants with the physical fitness, confidence and discipline required for careers in the uniformed services while promoting the values of public service and humanitarian responsibility.
