DISKIT: District Police Nubra organised an awareness programme on drug abuse and emotional hygiene at Lamdon Model School, Diskit, on Monday, focusing on youth well-being, responsible behaviour and the importance of making healthy life choices.

His Eminence Choegon Rinpoche attended the programme as the special speaker and interacted with students and parents on emotional well-being, positive values and responsible living. The interaction aimed to sensitise young people to the importance of emotional balance and informed decision-making.

The programme also drew a large number of local residents, who gathered to seek the blessings of Choegon Rinpoche, reflecting the spiritual leader’s standing among the people of Nubra.
