NURLA: District Police Sham organised a drug and cyber awareness workshop at Brigade Headquarters, Nurla, on Monday to sensitise armed personnel to the harmful effects of substance abuse and the growing threat of cyber-financial fraud.
The workshop focused on raising awareness of drug-related harm and online financial scams, with particular emphasis on the need for vigilance against cyber fraud targeting armed personnel.
The initiative aimed to promote responsible online practices, encourage awareness of cyber-related offences and reinforce the importance of collective efforts to prevent substance abuse and financial fraud.
Through the awareness programme, District Police Sham sought to highlight the risks associated with drug abuse and unsafe online activities, while encouraging personnel to remain alert to potential cyber threats.
The workshop formed part of efforts to promote awareness of substance abuse and cybercrime, two areas of concern requiring informed decision-making, preventive measures and responsible conduct.
