Suru Teachers Forum felicitates Retired Teachers at Tangole

KARGIL: The Teachers Forum, Suru, honoured retired teachers at a farewell programme held at the Community Facilitation Centre (CFC), Tangole, recognising their contribution to education and their wider role in society.

The programme was organised on September 13 and was attended by ZEO Hadi as the Chief Guest, along with ZEPO Feroz, Chairman of the Teachers Forum, and Forum President Hussain.

Addressing the gathering, the speakers highlighted the dignity and responsibilities associated with the teaching profession and acknowledged the contribution made by teachers to the education of generations of students and to society at large.

ZEPO Feroz, while addressing the gathering, underlined the continuing role of teachers in shaping society. He also expressed regret over the delay in organising the farewell programme for the retired teachers.

President of the Teachers Forum Hussain and Chairman ZEPO Feroz thanked the residents of Tangole and members of the Forum whose efforts contributed to the successful conduct of the event.

They said the Teachers Forum seeks to go beyond organising ceremonial programmes and work towards the welfare and dignity of employees across generations, without distinction based on caste or religion.

The programme was anchored by Irshad and began with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an by Ilyas of Tangole, followed by a welcome address by Aga Mehdi of Taisuru.

The gathering provided an opportunity for colleagues and community members to acknowledge the service of the retired teachers and reflect on the responsibilities and values associated with the teaching profession.

The retired teachers, while addressing the gathering, expressed their gratitude and sought forgiveness for any inadvertent shortcomings during their years of service.

The programme concluded with an address by ZEO Hadi, who attended the event as the Chief Guest.
