The deliberations took place during the visit of Prof. Rajeev Rattan Sharma, the first Vice-Chancellor of Sindhu Central University, to the University of Ladakh, where he met Vice-Chancellor Prof. Saket Kushwaha.

The meeting centred on expanding cooperation between the two universities, with discussions focusing on academic development, institutional capacity-building and collaborative initiatives aimed at enhancing higher education in the Union Territory. The two Vice-Chancellors also exchanged the traditional khatak as a gesture of mutual respect and goodwill.

Prof. Kushwaha assured the visiting Vice-Chancellor that the University of Ladakh would cooperate in areas of mutual interest and provide assistance whenever required to facilitate the growth of Sindhu Central University.

The interaction reflected a shared vision of strengthening higher education through institutional partnerships, academic collaboration and the exchange of knowledge and expertise.
