LEH: The Indian Army’s Fire and Fury Corps organised a military equipment display for students and faculty members of Vidyashilp Education Group, Bengaluru, in Ladakh, offering them an opportunity to learn about the Army’s equipment and operational capabilities in the region’s challenging terrain.
The display aimed to familiarise the visiting students with military resources and the capabilities of the Armed Forces, while fostering awareness and inspiring patriotism among the younger generation.
The event provided students and faculty members an opportunity to observe military equipment and gain an understanding of the operational capabilities maintained by the Army in Ladakh, where troops operate in demanding high-altitude conditions and extreme cold.
According to the Fire and Fury Corps, the students displayed enthusiasm and curiosity throughout the visit. Their engagement with the equipment display, despite the challenging cold conditions, reflected their interest in learning about the Armed Forces and their role in the region.
The initiative was also aimed at strengthening awareness among young people about the military’s capabilities and encouraging a greater appreciation of the service rendered by Army personnel.
Such interactions provide students with opportunities to engage with the Armed Forces beyond the classroom and gain exposure to military equipment and operational preparedness. The display also sought to inspire young minds by bringing them closer to the Army’s work in a strategically important and geographically demanding region.
The programme was organised by the Fire and Fury Corps of the Indian Army as part of its engagement with visiting students and faculty members.
