LEH: The Leh administration on Saturday reviewed security, logistical and administrative arrangements for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination, 2026, scheduled to be held on July 19, with officials directed to ensure strict adherence to UPSC guidelines for the smooth conduct of the examination.
The preparatory meeting was chaired by Delex Namgyal, JKAS, Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR), Leh, at the Mini Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office.
During the meeting, officials discussed the examination schedule, deployment of supervisory and support staff, security arrangements, frisking procedures, installation and inspection of jammers, handling and safe custody of confidential examination materials and other logistical requirements associated with the examination.
The ACR reviewed the preparedness of all departments and instructed officials to ensure close coordination so that the examination is conducted in a fair, transparent and secure manner without inconvenience to candidates.
Officials were also briefed on their respective responsibilities to facilitate the smooth execution of examination-related duties.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the UPSC, Deputy Superintendent of Police Headquarters Rishabh Shukla (IPS), Principal of Eliezer Joldan Memorial College, Leh, Stanzin Yangdol, who will serve as the Venue Supervisor, Chief Horticulture Officer Kunzang Wangmo, designated as the Local Inspecting Officer, the Superintendent of Post Offices, Ladakh Postal Division, Naib Tehsildar Mohd Rahullah, deputed for magisterial duty, representatives of the Security Police, Ladakh, the jammer representative and other officials.
Concluding the meeting, Namgyal directed all departments concerned to maintain seamless coordination and comply with the examination protocols laid down by the UPSC to ensure the examination is conducted efficiently and without disruption.
