KHALTSE: Children, Anganwadi workers and community members participated in Har Ghar Tiranga rallies organised at various Anganwadi Centres across Sham district, bringing the national campaign to early childhood centres in the region.

The rallies were organised to promote patriotism, national unity and respect for the National Flag while encouraging greater public participation in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.

Anganwadi workers, children, Child Development Project Officer and staff members participated in the activities, carrying the Tricolour and raising patriotic slogans.

The involvement of young children gave the campaign a community-based character and provided an opportunity to introduce them to the National Flag and the values associated with it.

The rallies also brought together Anganwadi workers and local communities, extending the campaign beyond schools and government offices to neighbourhood-level institutions.

Organisers said the enthusiastic participation of children and community members reflected a collective sense of responsibility and public involvement.

The activities also sought to encourage citizens to display the National Flag at their homes during the campaign period.

For the children, the rallies offered an early exposure to civic participation and public observances, while the involvement of Anganwadi workers helped connect the campaign with grassroots community institutions.

The events across Sham formed part of a wider series of Har Ghar Tiranga activities being organised in Ladakh ahead of Independence Day.
