The commemorative ride has been organised to honour the legacy of Operation Vijay while reinforcing the spirit of remembrance associated with Kargil Vijay Diwas.
At the Kargil War Memorial, the riders observed a solemn tribute to the fallen soldiers, reaffirming the Indian Army’s continued commitment to preserving the memory of those who made the supreme sacrifice in defence of the nation’s territorial integrity.
The 24-member team negotiated steep mountain passes, high-altitude roads and the rugged Himalayan terrain during the expedition, underscoring the physical endurance and operational discipline that characterised the journey from the national capital to Drass. The Sanchar Shakti Motorcycle Expedition forms part of a series of outreach and commemorative events being organised by the Indian Army ahead of Kargil Vijay Diwas.
