LEH: BJP Ladakh State President Tashi Gyaltson Khachu on Tuesday reviewed the progress of the Bodh Vihara Foot Over Bridge project in Delhi, where officials informed him that construction is progressing on schedule and is expected to be completed by the end of September.

During his inspection of the project site, Khachu was briefed by executing officials on the pace of construction. They informed him that work is being carried out on a priority basis to ensure adherence to the scheduled completion timeline.

Reviewing the progress, the BJP leader underscored the importance of completing the project within the stipulated timeframe, stating that the foot over bridge would substantially improve pedestrian safety and ease movement in the area.

He observed that the facility would particularly benefit patients, senior citizens and people from Ladakh who frequently visit the locality, besides providing safer access for residents, shopkeepers, customers, devotees, students and other pedestrians.

Khachu said the bridge is expected to enhance accessibility while reducing risks associated with crossing the busy stretch, making the area more convenient for daily commuters and visitors alike.

The Bodh Vihara Foot Over Bridge is being developed to strengthen pedestrian infrastructure in the locality, with officials expressing confidence that the project will be ready for public use by the end of September, as per the construction schedule.
