LEH: Eliezer Joldan Memorial College, Leh, on Monday held a condolence meeting to mourn the untimely demise of Stanzin Chunit, a former colleague and distinguished alumna of the institution, who passed away following health-related complications.
The condolence gathering was attended by the Principal, faculty members and staff of the college. It began with a moment of silence and prayers in memory of the deceased.
Members of the institution recalled Chunit as a sincere, dedicated and humble person who maintained cordial relations with colleagues and students during her association with the college. Speakers remembered her for her commitment to the institution and her warm and compassionate personality.
Assistant Professor Rinchen Angmo expressed deep sorrow over Chunit’s passing and said that her contribution to the institution and her humane approach would remain fondly remembered by those who had worked and interacted with her.
The members of the college conveyed their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for strength and courage for them to cope with the loss.
