LEH: The Fire & Fury Corps of the Indian Army hosted students from government schools in Nimu and Basgo at the Hall of Fame in Leh, providing them an opportunity to learn about the Army’s battlefield achievements, initiatives and operational legacy.

The visit exposed the students to exhibits highlighting the role of the Indian Army in national security and nation building, while offering them an insight into the experiences and contributions of its personnel.

During the interaction, the students were introduced to the values of courage, leadership, discipline and dedication associated with military service. The exhibits and discussions also sought to familiarise them with the Army’s operational history and its contribution to the country.

The interaction encouraged the students to appreciate the values of discipline and teamwork, while promoting a sense of patriotism and civic responsibility among the young participants.

The programme also provided an opportunity for interaction between the students and Army personnel, strengthening the engagement between the armed forces and the local community.

The visit was organised as part of efforts by the Fire & Fury Corps to familiarise younger generations with the military heritage and operational legacy associated with the Indian Army.
