DRASS: The Dras Healers of the Fire & Fury Corps conducted a sanitation and cleanliness drive at Fraw village in Drass on Monday under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan 2026, with a focus on hygiene, waste management and community awareness.

The activity involved cleaning public places, collecting and properly disposing of waste, and creating awareness among villagers about sanitation and health practices.

Medical Officers and paramedical staff of the Drass Healers, along with village representatives and local residents, participated in the cleanliness drive.

The programme also included dissemination of information on health and hygiene practices, with the objective of encouraging residents to adopt measures that can help prevent communicable diseases and maintain cleaner surroundings.

The initiative sought to promote greater community participation in maintaining sanitation and environmental cleanliness, while encouraging collective responsibility towards public health.

The Fire & Fury Corps said the activity was aimed at fostering awareness about the importance of a clean environment and hygiene in building a healthier community.
