LEH: As part of its outreach initiatives aimed at promoting holistic education, the Fire & Fury Corps on Wednesday organised a special movie outing for 65 students and four teachers of Army Goodwill School, Kharu, providing them with an opportunity for recreational learning outside the classroom.
The initiative was designed to offer students a break from their academic routine while fostering creativity, social interaction and emotional well-being through a shared learning experience.
According to the Army, the programme formed part of its continuing efforts to support the overall development of children studying in Army Goodwill Schools by complementing classroom education with activities that encourage confidence, teamwork and personal growth.
The outing also reflected the Indian Army’s ongoing community engagement initiatives in Ladakh, aimed at nurturing young minds and strengthening its long-standing relationship with local communities through educational and welfare-oriented programmes.
The Fire & Fury Corps said such initiatives are intended to inspire students while reinforcing the enduring bond between the Indian Army and the people of Ladakh.
