ZANSKAR: Government Middle School Pibiting in Zanskar on Monday organised a programme under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, with students and teachers participating in activities aimed at promoting national pride, unity and respect for the National Flag.
The programme sought to familiarise students with the importance of the National Flag and encourage their participation in the nationwide campaign ahead of Independence Day.
Students took part enthusiastically in various activities organised at the school, while teachers joined them in paying tribute to the Tricolour and reinforcing the values associated with national unity and civic responsibility.
The programme also focused on encouraging students to take the campaign’s message beyond the school and motivate their families and local communities to display the National Flag at their homes.
Teachers stressed the importance of nurturing a sense of national pride and responsibility among young people, while highlighting the role of students in carrying the message of unity to the wider community.
The school administration appreciated the participation and enthusiasm shown by students and teachers, observing that such programmes help connect young minds with the nation’s values, heritage and spirit of unity. The programme concluded with the message, “Tiranga for every home, pride for every Indian,” reflecting the campaign’s emphasis on wider public participation in the Independence Day celebrations.
