LEH: Police Headquarters (PHQ), Ladakh, on Friday accorded a ceremonial farewell to Chief Accounts Officer Skalzang Chospa, Accounts Assistant Jigmet Norgais and Inspector Manzoor Ahmad, who have been transferred from the headquarters after completing nearly two years of service in their respective assignments.

The farewell function, held at Police Headquarters, was attended by Anand Jain, who honoured the outgoing officers with khataks and mementoes in recognition of their professional commitment and services rendered during their tenure.

Police officials said Skalzang Chospa and Jigmet Norgais served in the Accounts Section, while Inspector Manzoor Ahmad was posted in the Training and Welfare Section. Throughout their tenure, they contributed to the functioning of their respective wings while discharging their responsibilities with dedication and sincerity.

According to the transfer orders, Skalzang Chospa has been posted to the District Fund Office, Leh, Jigmet Norgais has been transferred to the Secretariat, Ladakh, and Inspector Manzoor Ahmad has been posted to the Traffic Police, Ladakh.

Speaking at the function, the Assistant Inspector General (Personnel), PHQ Ladakh, outlined the contributions made by the three officers during their tenure and acknowledged their role in supporting the administrative, financial and welfare-related functions of the headquarters.

The outgoing officers reflected on their experience of serving at PHQ Ladakh and expressed appreciation to the senior leadership and colleagues for the cooperation and support they received during their postings.

Senior officers and staff members also joined the farewell ceremony, commending the officers for their professionalism and dedication while extending their best wishes for success in their new assignments.

The farewell programme underscored the Police Headquarters’ tradition of acknowledging the service of personnel on transfer, while recognising their contributions to the institution before they assume new responsibilities within the administration.
