LEH: Ladakh Police has installed ‘Jullay 2.0’ information posters with scan codes at the arrival and departure terminals of Kushok Bakula Rinpoche Airport, Leh, enabling tourists and members of the public to access essential travel and emergency information through a mobile application.

The initiative is aimed at providing travellers with immediate access to information and services they may require during their stay in the Union Territory, particularly upon arrival and before departure.

The scan code displayed on the posters allows travellers to download the Jullay 2.0 app, which provides information on police stations and contact numbers, medical facilities available at Primary Health Centres (PHCs), tourist information and other services.

The application also provides information on markets, festivals, weather conditions and other matters intended to assist visitors in planning their travel and accessing services while in Ladakh.

The posters have been placed at both passenger terminals of KBR Airport to make the information readily accessible to travellers at one of the Union Territory’s main entry points.

According to Ladakh Police, the initiative is intended to support informed travel and facilitate easier access to essential services, particularly for tourists unfamiliar with the region.

Ladakh Police has urged tourists and members of the public to use the facility and the Jullay 2.0 application for information during their stay.

The department reiterated its commitment to the safety, security and well-being of tourists visiting Ladakh and said the initiative was aimed at making travel in the region more convenient and better informed.
