LEH: District Police Leh on Monday conducted its weekly Monday Parade at the District Police Lines (DPL), with Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP), District Armed Reserve (DAR) emphasising discipline, vigilance and professional conduct while urging personnel to uphold the highest standards of policing and public service.

The parade was attended by officers, officials and Special Police Officers (SPOs) attached to DPL Leh, including personnel from the Administration, Motor Transport Section, Dry Canteen and Wet Canteen.

The DySP DAR inspected the parade in the presence of the Reserve Inspector and the Line Officer, reviewing the turnout, discipline and drill performance of the participating personnel. According to the police, all contingents displayed exemplary turnout and executed a coordinated march past, reflecting a high level of professionalism and operational preparedness.

Addressing the gathering, the DySP DAR stressed the importance of maintaining proper turnout, punctuality, physical fitness and discipline, while advising personnel to remain vigilant in the discharge of their duties and perform their responsibilities with dedication and integrity.

He also called upon police personnel to uphold the highest standards of policing to ensure effective maintenance of law and order and delivery of efficient public service.

Following the parade, the DySP DAR inspected the Quarter Guard and reviewed ceremonial and operational preparedness. While appreciating the overall turnout of the guards, he instructed them to further improve rifle drill and weapon handling to achieve higher standards of ceremonial precision and operational efficiency.
