LEH: The weekly Monday Parade was held at the District Police Lines (DPL), Leh, on Tuesday as part of the District Police’s regular training, discipline and preparedness activities, with the inspecting officer stressing physical fitness, professional conduct and operational readiness.

The parade was inspected by the Dy SP DAR, DPL Leh, in the presence of the Lines Officer. Personnel from all sections of DPL participated in the parade.

During the inspection, personnel were briefed on the importance of maintaining discipline, proper turnout, physical fitness and operational preparedness, besides adhering to departmental instructions.

The inspecting officer also reviewed the overall turnout and arrangements for the parade and directed personnel to maintain a high standard of professionalism and readiness while performing their duties.

The personnel were further directed to discharge their responsibilities with dedication, discipline and a strong sense of responsibility, keeping public service and operational preparedness among their foremost priorities.

The parade concluded with directions to all ranks to maintain the standards expected of police personnel in the discharge of their duties.

Later, the Quarter Guard of DPL Leh was also inspected as part of the day’s activities.

The weekly parade is part of the District Police’s routine programme for maintaining discipline, physical fitness and preparedness among personnel.
