LEH: A BJP delegation from Sankoo, led by former Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council Chairman and party’s Ladakh State Vice President Haji Anayat Ali, called on BJP National General Secretary (Organisation) B.L. Santhosh and thanked him for his support in granting Sankoo separate organisational district status within the party.

The meeting was attended by Adv. Tashi Gyalson, former Chief Executive Councillor and Chairman of the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Leh, and BJP Ladakh State Vice President Dorje Angchuk.

The delegation included Haj Committee member Haji Ghulam Mohd., BJP Kargil district president Assadullah Munshi, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Kargil district president Adv. Mohd. Hassanain Rocky, nominated councillor and Kargil Bar Association president Adv. Reyaz Khan, besides local BJP Mandal leaders and Yuva Morcha representatives.

During the meeting, the delegation expressed gratitude to Santhosh for supporting the recognition of Sankoo as a separate BJP organisational district, describing the move as a step towards strengthening the party’s grassroots structure and improving coordination with local workers and the public.

Led by Haji Anayat Ali, the delegation reaffirmed its commitment to consolidating the BJP’s organisational presence in Sankoo and working towards public welfare, youth engagement and the overall development of the region, according to the press release.
