Youth participation reflects confidence in devp agenda: Adv Gyalson
LEH: More than 150 young people joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the party headquarters in Leh, with senior party leader and former CEC, LAHDC-Leh, Adv Tashi Gyalson, describing the youth participation as a sign of confidence in a progressive and development-oriented vision for Ladakh.
The mass induction ceremony was held in the presence of Ladakh BJP State President Tashi Gyaltson Khachu, along with the President and executive members of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) and other senior party leaders.
Welcoming the new members, the BJP leadership said the induction reflected growing youth participation in the party and confidence in its policies and stated commitment to addressing the aspirations and development needs of the people of Ladakh.
“The energy and trust shown by the youth of Ladakh today prove that the region’s future is aligned with a progressive and development-oriented vision. These young voices will act as the key drivers of positive change across our high-altitude communities,” Adv Tashi Gyalson, former CEC, LAHDC-Leh and senior BJP leader, said.
The newly inducted members expressed confidence that the BJP government would work towards addressing Ladakh’s long-pending demands and fulfilling the aspirations of its people.
They said they had joined the party with the intention of contributing to the region’s progress and participating in initiatives aimed at its overall development.
State BJP President Tashi Gyaltson Khachu welcomed the new members and called upon them to actively participate in public service and developmental activities across Ladakh.
The induction also strengthens the BJP’s organisational outreach among young people in Leh, with the party seeking to involve the new members in grassroots activities and public engagement across the Union Territory. The BJP leadership said the participation of young people would provide fresh impetus to its efforts to expand public outreach and strengthen its development-oriented agenda in Ladakh.
