3rd batch of CBSE remedial classes begins

LEH: The third batch of CBSE remedial classes has commenced at nine designated venues across Leh district, with a focus on strengthening students’ academic preparedness ahead of the CBSE Board Examinations 2027 for Classes 10 and 12.

The classes are being conducted at Likely, DIET Leh, Paras Hall Boys Leh, Nubra Disket, Sumur, Turtuk, Khaltsi, Nyoma and Tangtse, covering different parts of the district.

The initiative is being implemented under the guidance of the Secretary, School Education, and Director, School Education, with the objective of providing structured academic support to students preparing for the forthcoming board examinations.

The remedial programme places emphasis on competency-based learning, examination-oriented preparation and practice based on CBSE examination patterns. It also includes systematic revision of the prescribed syllabus and efforts to strengthen students’ conceptual understanding.

The classes are intended to provide students with additional academic support and greater familiarity with the format and requirements of the CBSE examinations.

The programme also seeks to help students identify areas requiring further revision and improve their preparedness through regular practice and structured learning.

The continuation of the remedial classes reflects the School Education Department’s efforts to provide academic support to students across the district and help them approach the 2027 CBSE Board Examinations with greater confidence and preparedness.
